Tech Adventures Summer Camp 2026

for Rising 6th through 9th graders

3D Printing & Design Camp

(TinkerCAD +Onshape)

@ KiteSteam Ridgewood Studio

A hands-on summer camp for middle school students where creativity meets engineering through 3D design and printing. Students learn the basics of digital modeling using beginner-friendly TinkerCAD and professional-grade Onshape to design their own 3D objects. They explore how real-world products are created, from concept to prototype, and prepare their designs for 3D printing.

Using tools like sketching, modeling, scaling, and assembling parts, campers develop skills in design thinking, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning.

Example projects may include designing custom keychains, phone stands, or simple mechanical parts like gears or mini tools.

The camp encourages creativity, innovation, and confidence as students bring their digital ideas to life through 3D printing in a fun, supportive learning environment and they will get to bring a project home.

Grades: entering 6-9th

Dates: July 13-17th

Time: 9:00am-12:00pm

Cost: $575

Maker Camp: Arduino Edition

@ Ridgewood High School MakerSpace

An Arduino Summer Camp for middle school students introduces coding, electronics, and robotics through engaging hands-on activities and real-world projects.

Students learn how to build circuits, program Arduino microcontrollers, and work with components such as LEDs, resistors, breadboards, sensors, motors, buzzers, buttons, and displays to create interactive inventions.

For example, campers might design a smart traffic light system or a motion-activated alarm using sensors and lights.

The camp encourages creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving while helping students develop foundational STEM skills in a fun, supportive learning environment.

Grades: entering 6-9th

Dates: July 20th-24th

Time: 9:00am-12:00pm

Cost: $695
